The Board of Directors is a group of volunteers who provide valuable leadership, guidance and oversight for the corporation. They run the day-to-day management and activities of the organization. They make decisions on the best interest of the corporation and ensure the prudent use of all the assets including facilities, people and good will. They also provide oversight for all the activities that advance the corporations effectiveness and sustainability. They ensure that the corporation, as nonprofit, obeys applicable laws and acts in accordance with ethical practice that the corporation adheres to its state corporate purposes and that its activities advance its mission.
